The two men stepped off the trail and waited for the company of Nephilim to pass. The buzzing sounds that emanated from them as they conversed with one another reminded Oncus of a swarm of oversized bees. He recognized their Human herald, Hyrie of Mount Oeta, but not the two youths who walked along with her.
“I’ll never get used to that,” Teleon murmured as they continued and Oncus nodded in agreement. Despite the fact that he was the grandson of Apollo, he felt an eerie repulsion whenever he encountered these otherworld beings traveling through the shadowy nights with their Human sentinels. -- From MYTHS OF HELICON MOUNTAIN, Chapter 21
