The Red Scribe's Question

A note about the Red Scribe:  In a sequel to MYTHS OF HELICON MOUNTAIN, he  reappears as Surido, older, wiser, advisor to his queen, and he wonders:  Did not Athena rule Attica at the same time that Poseidon ruled Ortygia?  Why have her Earthbound subjects forgotten her?  Why do they languish in the doldrums of their seas when, if they but listen, they can hear  echoes of another time, other stars and other planets drifting in the voids of space.
